I understand there are some climate strike marches every Friday.

I might be going to the big city (Victoria, BC) this Friday.  If I have some spare time, I would like to hang out with some marchers.

But I cannot find any information on where it's happening.  All I can find is stuff about the past.

Okay...um... has Victoria given up on the climate strikes already?

So... um... the news said this was a global event every Friday until we reach the climate goals.

But apparently, I can't find the event for this week.

Either we've saved the planet or I have one more reason to be depressed by human apathy.

The key phrase for this is "Fridays for future" and you can find a map here: https://www.fridaysforfuture.org/events/map

Oddly it looks like there are weekly sit-ins in Nanaimo, Port Alberni, and Campbell River, but not Victoria. But if you're in Victoria there's no reason not to do it yourself, just go sit on the lawn of the parliament building with a sign. Submit it to the website or do it long enough and people may join you.
