Before you read further I want to be clear that I am a HUGE fan and supporter of the permies.com site. It's a fantastic community and resource for anyone interested in permaculture, gardening, homesteading, etc.

That said, I did want to let readers know about a writing contest that is going on this month at farm-dreams.com, with prizes from Baker Creek Seeds, Lehmans, Featherman Equipment and Kencove Fencing. If you go to http://www.farm-dreams.com/ you should see a link on the right side describing the writing contest. Hopefully some of you can participate and share the word/knowledge/skills about all things related to growing and preserving skills.

If you like strawberry rhubarb pie, try blueberry rhubarb (bluebarb) pie. And try this tiny ad:
Tomatoes! Ha! Anyone can grow that. Amaze your neighbors, grow your own shirt!
