We have two properties we are developing in the Okanagan area. One is our 2 acres home site on the river, the other is 40 acres higher up in the mountains. We are raising dexter
cattle, but we are looking for perimes interested in other ventures. The 40 acres is off grid, with springs and a large
pond. We have been looking at pigs,
chickens, tree crop/food forest as opportunities. We have several possible home sites, and we are going to be moving forward with a rental on our two acres.
So the opportunities abound, with our house only an hour away. You could start here and develop a home site at the 40 acres, Or help us develop a rental space here. We are looking at building a tiny home next to our house, and a vacation rental out back. We are also going to be working on camp sites and camping cabins on the 40 acres.
Along with animal systems and food/tree crop forest on the 40 acres. We have the tools and equipment for getting it done, just need more hands. We would like to build a small group community of like minded permies towards this end. Not looking to hire anyone to get it done but invite people to join in this goal. We have a site with some utilities already next to our house. We also have a skid shed we will be converting.
