Forward: This seemed relevant to PDC / design manual as I recall hearing this while watching one of Lawton's PDC videos (I think) online.
Can't recall if it was during my 2016 online PDC or the older one floating out there or simply an interview.
Feel free to move this as required.

Inquiry:

I vaguely recall Geoff Lawton talking about Bill Mollison and how he gave up everything he owned becoming (what I believe he said) a "Christs person" ... and I vaguely recall this status, whatever it was called, meant he didn't have to pay taxes in Australia but he couldn't own anything either.

Can anyone recall what I am talking about and what it actually meant or is my mind miss-remembering things?

Bill has been dead for a while now, so I think those in charge of his estate or lack thereof are the ones best to address this. My understanding was that he had outstanding tax issues that he could not meet. He may have removed himself from various things he created or helped create, as a way of protecting those assets, for those who would outlive him.

Yeah I realized he died a while back but I couldn't think of a way to word the topic in a way which respected this fact.

I was unaware of the potential for tax issues ... I suspect he put most of the projects into something akin to a trust (if they have those in Australia) to protect them from going forward :D

Thanks for the reply Dale!
