I live in florence sc  zone 8a . I live in a triplex owned by my family and I recently bought 6 muscadine vines to plant along our chain link fences behind our place. Well it turnes out that one of our places has leach lines along the fence. The only place i have left for these vines is a 40' x 40' area farther back. I decided to go with 3qty.  40' trellises 10 ft apart but i am now concidering making each of them into a dual curtain structure since im just starting the structure . I guess my question is would it be worth the effort on the actual production of grapes to do this. We will only be eating fresh. But there will be at least four of us eating heavily. I have 2 nesbitt , 2 fry, and 2 supremes .thanks
