Canarium odontophyllum (Dabai)

Rare tropical fruit from Kalimantan, Indonesia.
Dabai is also known as jungle olive. There are many different varieties. A complex taste with wide variety of flavors ranging from savory olive, avocado, pistachio, salted mashed potatoes, hummus, nutty cheese with notes of eucalyptus and menthol etc.

Recommended spacing between trees: 10m.
Estimated time to fruit from seed: 5-6 years.

Price: 4 USD per seed. If you buy more than 10 seeds then you will receive a 0.50 USD discount per seed. If you order larger amounts of seeds additional discounts can be negotiated. On top of the price comes the shipping costs.
FYI: Minimum base order is 25 USD before shipping costs.

Here are the shipping options:

1. Express envelope: 15 USD (not available for big orders)
2. Express Box: 20 USD.
3. International small package (5-11 delivery days) 10 USD.

In terms of the shipping method - we recommend that you choose the Express shipping option, which takes 4 to 6 working days.
The service comes with track and trace feature for your convenience. The reason why we recommend this shipping method is because the seeds have a short period of time where they are viable.

Important: We can not guarantee germination rate success from these seeds.
However, as soon as we have enough orders we buy the fruit fresh, and clean the seeds with water, fully removing all fruit residue and rub the seed with a dry towel so they are fully cleaned. Then we sterilize the seeds in hydrogen peroxide and air dry them in the shade. Next we pack them in clean ziplock bags with a few moist cotton balls or coconut coir depending on buyer preference. A few pin holes are made in the top of the bags and labeled well with the Genus and species plus the date and any other relevant info. The same day or the following day we send them via the local postage service. On top of this we have some extra techniques we use to ensure maximum survival rate for the seeds.

Before we ship the package we must receive full payment for the order.
Payment options can be found on our Instagram or facebook page
