Hi everyone!

I was going to post this in the Experiences section, but it seems better to post this in the region where I am looking.

I'm currently looking at farms/communities in NorCal for a long-term stay. After Wwoof'ing for a bit and doing 2-6 month stints, I'm looking to settle down on some land where I can see my work take hold and grow through several seasons. I left office life over five years ago and have worked on several different types of farms including mushroom, vegetable, dairy, and meat. I want to be at a place where I can feel free to work as hard as I can with the knowledge that I'll be around to see the fruits of my labor.

I pride myself with getting along with as many people as possible, but I'm happiest in any environment where the religion or politics aren't a constant focal point of discussion. I appreciate knowledge, but respect wisdom and my goal is always to turn the former into the latter. I'm an omnivore, and I prefer to be in an area where I can either keep hens or at least trap small game.

I have a Chesapeake Bay Retriever that loves people and rural life. She's very well-trained (I used to train dogs) and gets along with just about every type of animal you'll find on a farm. Her list of references are probably even better than my own!

Anyway, please DM me if you'd like to start a dialog and I can send you my references/resume with more details about my work experience.

Thank you!
