Hi There. My partner Jess and I are looking for a small cabin rental near Olympia, WA. Ultimately, we are looking to join a like minded community, but for now just want to hunker down in a small house on a farm somewhere.
We are both in our thirties, mature, have steady work, etc. I have helped with small farms and went through the Evergreen farming program. We have both lived in communities and have done work trade for rent.
Our ideal would be finding a community that wants to grow as much as possible for both humans and "The Others" (birds, insects, worms, coyotes, etc.) We very much want to find a balance between farm/homestead-permaculture-hunting and gathering.
If you know of such a spot available let us know.
