Looking for new friends who want to live with us who have an interest in permaculture, simple living close to nature, DIY, rustic (we’re off-grid, cook with wood and solar, have "walking" water as opposed to "running", etc), egalitarian, self-motivated, relatively fit individuals who don’t need someone to “manage” them however they also work well with others. We’ve been here for ~16 years but in many ways are still in the baby stages of the community because so much potential exists. We prefer non-tobacco users and folks who might only use other substances in small amounts or on occasion. We want a healthy atmosphere that supports personal growth and love for one another and the Earth. A great place to raise children. Super privileged/entitled people not a good fit. Folks who have had abuse history they've had to work through are welcome as well as single parents, folks with few money, so long as they have a desire to find a collection of people to live and work together with to mutually support and uplift one another. It can be challenging to live here because it’s so rustic and different than mainstream however me and my 12 y.o daughter have managed quite well to thrive so it’s obviously a good situation for some people. Might be good opportunity for a young family, LBGTQP welcome. We’ve got 12.7 acres, young permaculture food forest, 30x60 high tunnel hoop-house, pond, gardens, it’s too much for just us

I appreciate your comment on baby stage.   I have come to accept that it is all a voyage that never truly reaches  a destination.
