In recently understanding the effects of acid rain, I researched the place area I have been interested in buying land.
Not good really -- average ph is 4.2-4.4 for rain.
But it sure looks pretty . . .
No real improvement over monitoring time frames of 20 years.
This might get worse, stay the same, or slowly recover past my lifetime.
I'm just wonder if buying in an area where rainfall is like this is wise.
I guess it could be buffered with lime perhaps?
At what ph of rainfall should land be avoided?
Also, anyone know of website with current maps of rainfall ph?
