I have been reading some of the info on EM1 and others, and I made me wonder if I have been wasting a good thing.  I ferment wheat and barley for my chickens.  In a plastic gallon water bottle with the top cut off I fill about 3/4 up with water, and add 1 cup of barley seed and 1 cup of wheat.  I let it sit under cover for 3 to 5 days.  Then I have a tray that has lots of holes in it in my chicken coop and I dump the fermented grain into the tray.  The liquid drains out and the chickens love the grains.  I actually stopped growing fodder because the chickens seem to like the fermented grains so much better.  Fermenting is easier, uses less water and better for them, so its a win.
I came across this thread that was talking about fermenting for your garden, and I thought should I be using this liquid I have been discarding in my garden?  Seems like from what I read it would be beneficial.  It just never occurred to me to make use of the liquid, which is strange because I try not to waist water.  I probably get about a half gallon everyday.  Should I start putting it into my garden,  do I need to dilute it?  I'm interested in you thoughts.
I'm also thinking I should dig up the soil/wood chips that sit under where I pour that liquid ever day.  I bet it's like a super soil at this point.  Thanks for you time.

I was also wondering if I should mix my sourdough starter discard with some water and pour that into the garden?
