i have something new growing on mylawn My grass was looking pretty good for awhile following the lawn care for the cheap and lazy method. But now i have some kind of grass growing that I didn't pant. It has wide blades and grows faster and taller than my regular grass. very noticable. does anyone know  what it might be and the best and safest way to get rid of it? thanks for your advice.

First, be sure about what it is.  Can you take samples to your local extension office?
