We're seeking a permaculture teacher, preferably someone with an established Buddhist practice (i.e., a Buddhist meditator), for EcoDharma College (
http://www.ecodharmacollege.org). EcoDharma combines aspects of a traditional college, a cooperative trade school, a workers' cooperative, an intentional community, an organic farm, and a permaculture demonstration site. Teachers are also needed in related subject areas:
**organic gardening/farming
**nonprofit admin/fundraising
**green building
**cooking/food preservation
**and related "re-skilling" areas
EcoDharma's curriculum has three "pillars": self-reliance reskilling and sustainable living, Buddhist practice, and community-building. Teachers will comprise a non-profit workers' collective and live together in an intentional community on site.
Feel free to ask questions, and/or forward this information to others who might be interested. Thanks!
