The deal is done but I mostly just wanted to hear that I'm not making a bad call. I've had two guinea hens for about a year. They were okay until the past few months. They started attacking my adult hens BAD and injuring them. Any sign of weakness they would brutally attack. Then two days ago we had a few chicks born. I put mom and babies into a dog crate in the coop so they would be protected. But somehow the guineas got their heads through the bars and killed 3/4 of the chicks. I now have only one chick left. Is this normal behavior? I wanted the guineas for tick control but I'm hoping 30 chickens will be enough to do the job. I found a nice lady who wants to take them one town over.

Ouch! That's rough. I'm so sorry they were like that. I think I'd have eaten them.
