I wasn't sure if this should be in this thread, or you know your a permies when, but this seems the better place.  
I was hilling my potato plants and uncovered a rusty shovel head.  It was very thin at the bottom and had some holes in it.  Most people I know would have thrown it in the trash, but I saw it and remembered a saying I'd seen somewhere, and thought that it was the perfect use.

This is so cute!  I have four shovel heads in the carport.  Now I know what I'm going to do with at least one of them.

I'm glad you liked it, I enjoyed making it.  I have been thinking about telling my friends and family to give my all garden type tools that are broken, ect.  Wouldn't it make a fun little fence for my flower garden?  We will see if I can get enough to do one side.
