Hi my name is Sonya Henry. I am seeking information about intentional living communities in Montana accepting applications for new members... If this is not the place I should be inquiring I apologize I'm new and have not a clue where to start looking or who to contact on my quest to look for eco friendly communities.. If you can suggest or share information as to what and where I might inquire please respond to myself.. Sonya ... Thank you..

Hi Sonja, and welcome to permies!

I moved your post to the ecovillage and Intentional Village forum, so hopefully you'll get more answers here.

I'm not too familiar with the intentional communities in Montana, except for the one at Wheaton Labs. Most people join through Permaculture Bootcamp, learning a bunch of skills and gaining their own plot of land though hard work (https://wheaton-labs.com/bootcamp/). Wheaton Labs is actually hosts the Permaculture Technology Course that you posted originally in. Some people chose to skip bootcamp and pay to join Ant Village. Some of the people at Wheaton Labs have their own blogs here on permies: Orin, Clayton, Jen, and Josiah.

Sorry I don't know more about other communities in Montana (I live closer to the coast ). Hopefully someone else can chime in. I'll add this to the "Rockies" forum, too, for you!
