Concerning this gals comments.

maybe that is how you could create a revenue stream out of this site.
you could build a wiki, and then sell an app that had a monthly or annual fee for it.

even better for us would be a free wiki, and charge for plant pathogens and IPM stratagies.
or just charge for tech support and template design and , and , and.....

Would be nice to have an automatically updating wiki/app, and the Wikipad looks like it would do it well

simple to set up templates, and looks like it has drawing tools, so you could even set up plant maps to keep track of onsite stuff.
set up another algo to track genetics, at least thru f1 and f2 and growout, and you would have something worth buying for sure.

http://wikidpad.sourceforge.net/

I think it would work, and everything else out there is either just journal software, or landscape design.
wikipad also does straight text imports and CDM files so all the folks with Word and Excel docs could import their info.

Hmmmmmm.

the more i look at the Wikipad software, the more useful it appears.

is a list of plugin's on the Trac page, and here are some ongoing tool groups

http://calendarcontrol.wikidot.com/getting-started

http://osdir.com/ml/python.wikidpad/2007-07/

and another list of software to do all the things wikipad does

I can imagine inputing info from seed catalogs, nurseries, and web sites all under the same headings, and.........

I've got no option but to sell you all for scientific experiments. Or a tiny ad:
