I thought if someone here was thinking about getting a family cow, this would be of interest. Her name is Sue and she's a pure bred Jersey that I raised from a calf. She's very docile, even though she still has her horns. She's never been given drugs or been sick and has been on pasture grass and hay her whole life, never has eaten grain, except some that I sprouted for her. We have two cow's, Sue and her mom, and can only keep one right now cause we're moving to a smaller area. Sue can be bred at this time and she will be an amazing milker. She herself nursed off her mom for over a year and it shows in her facial bone structure and all around condition. I put the price for her at $900 on cr-list but will take best offer because we want her to go to good people.
