got an electronic mail about insurance for beekeepers from Phil Chandler's organization. have a look here. that particular organization is just for UK beeks, but there's an effort to spread the idea elsewhere. I believe the important difference is that previous insurance options in the UK were available only through the British Beekeepers Association, which has strong ties to the pesticide industry.
