Hello, I have been reading and learning about permaculture gardening concepts on permies website for a long time, so I finally decided to post something!
I have recently purchased 4 acres of raw undeveloped land in Julian Ca, and wanted to know if anybody has had luck with renting land to other farmers/gardeners.

My new wanna be homestead is several miles away from the town of Julian, and comes with water well and electricity, and some tool sheds, otherwise its rather primitive.
There is a pave road access to the land.

Since there is no permitted structures on the land, bathroom facilities are not allowed, so I am not sure if that would be a big issue.
Hoping for some feedback, and thank you!

Seems like a prime spot for a small, seasonal RV park. They will appreciate water, electricity, and privacy; and since their bathrooms are technically self-contained, you can perhaps skirt the regs. Get the right sort, retired and well-heeled, and they will be good tenants -- and tell their friends.

Edit: they will also love a garden where they are allowed to raid fresh produce in exchange for helping out a little.
