Work obligations have limited the amount of time that I can spend surfing around the net and around this site lately. A few months back when the weather was bad and the nights were long , I spent countless hours investigating a million things. Quite often, I would read every word of a thread of interest.

Now with my limited time, I find myself discriminating against Hatfields, McCoys and those with comical or whimsical names. I know the name subject has been beaten to death in other threads but this habit of skimming came about quite innocently as I would only click on subjects that displayed a name that I associate with sound reasoning. The Hatfields, McCoys and others are just a blur of names to me. It was a simple matter of "judging a book by it's cover". I can't say whether I agreed or disagreed with those in the aforementioned group because I simply didn't take the time to read their input.

I chalk some of this up to how my memory works. I know where Paul W, Fred M, Tyler L,Ken P ,Burra and several others stand on many issues. I know where they live and something about their projects and ambitions. Some of them include pictures. I honestly can't remember what has been said in the past by all of the moonbeams, tigerlillies and snowflakes because my brain dosen't record them as real living people with seperate identities. Somehow they all get classified as annonomous when they reach the sorting house between my ears.

I think everyone deserves to be treated as an individual. That's probably what our ancestors had in mind when they first named a baby ," Dancing Cloud".
