Global Peace Pole day!

November 22 is global peace pole day!

A peace pole is a pole, with the message "may peace prevail on earth" written upon it. The message was authored by Masahisa Goi over 70 years ago and the date was chosen as it is Masahisa Goi's birthday.

A Peace Pole is an internationally-recognized symbol of the hopes and dreams of the entire human family, standing vigil in silent prayer for peace on earth.
