Hi guys,
I read in the Smithsonian that the head of development planning in Maui was thinking of tapping under water rivers to solve the droughts. I’m new in the permaculture world as far as being recently certified. If anyone out there with extensive years under their belt in water catchment or clout, it would be cool if they would reach out to : Maui County planning director Michele McLean and give her information in starting water catchment systems in neighborhoods rather than tapping into under water river systems. In my opinion, there is plenty of water available above ground with creative methods in place.
