Living in Condos/Townhomes & their respective Homeowner Associations why not to buy in.

Not realizing just how much free-thinkers & self-starters we were, my husband & I mistakenly bought a condo, then a townhome! We do not recommend this path AT ALL. If you have horror stories to share about Home Owner Associations, I'd like to see it available for all to see, especially those who might make the error of purchasing into a condo / townhome community.
