Hi y'all!

If you're interested in living closely with other people to create a small off-grid permaculture village in an early-succession hardwood forest outside Durham, NC... please check us out!
https://www.ic.org/directory/rainwater-collective/

I'm pretty solid on natural building, off-grid infrastructure, and I'm even slowly learning how to take apart and put back together our little solar system... but what we really really need is people who are experienced at planting things. I dream of forest gardens, abundant overflowing polycultural annual gardens, and silvopasture with goats in our scrubby foresty acres.  Please come help make it happen!

We're dedicated to a deep-green vision, with the goal of creating a culture and lifeway that actually, really works for the Earth and for us.  We want this village to still be here 500 years from now.

Particularly seeking folks who have lived in intentional community before and/or who are steeped (or want to steep) in cooperative culture, consensus governance, nonviolent communication, antiracism, and of course... permaculture!!

More details available upon request!  I'm not the most savvy at internet things, so if you're really interested I suggest reaching out to me via email: rachelwatersong@fastmail.com, as I'm not entirely sure if I'll get a notification when someone posts to this thread.

Be well,
Rachel
