i could not find the original video where i learned about this..
where a guy uses a fan and bug netting to catch mosquitos and then makes a burger out of them and eats it...

here is another similar video... the mosquitos and blackflies get thick like this at my place up north so i might try this at some point

these flies do not look like mosquitos.. more like midges or something similar
unfortunately it is in-discriminant in what it catches so would be best set up indoors so you dont end up with a bunch of bees etc
