Hullo from snowy SE Michigan! We are a farmer (A) & herbalist (M) living near downtown Jackson, MI, and looking forward to planting our first garden at this home. We're both foodies & permie geeks & spend lots of time on local farms tending plants & trees & chickens & sheep & one other. Our little house was purchased primarily because of the attached commercial kitchen. It was had for a song, and we're slowly making the rest of it comfortable for our simple lifestyle; this weekend we sanded the 90yo white pine floors in what will be the bedroom. We're lucky to have a double lot with good sun and a few maples for show. Thanks for this forum, and for the wisdom shared here!
