Hello all,

A friend of mine recently referred me to this forum to help broaden our chances of selling our off-grid tiny house in Belize. Here's a description of the property as well as the link to the website you can inquire about purchasing if interested. Pictures of the property can also be viewed on the site. Praying this makes it to someone who has been looking and that it will be a perfect match!

This is a tiny elevated primitive solar home in Belize on a fenced and gated 1/2 acre lot, with a small kitchen area, bathroom (4x7), main floor living area (12x12) with a single twin bed, and loft (8x12) with single bed, tiny storage building, and covered porch (not included in the square footage), with a chicken coop out back. It was designed to be a green home for simple living. This listing includes a small solar set-up sufficient for basics for living, teak and fruit trees. If you've always dreamed of moving to Belize, or having a vacation cabin there and wanted to do it on the cheap, here is your chance. As you can see from the pictures, it comes furnished with some furniture, pots and pans, dishes, silverware, fridge, stove, etc.... they all stay with the cabin. A couple of the pictures are to show down the roadway in our community. The community roadsides and maintenance and property taxes are included in the HOA fees of $35.00 U.S. per month, but you are responsible for your own yard and driveway care inside your fence. Also, there is a water company and the cost is based on your usage, but most find their monthly bill is somewhere between $10.00 -$25.00 BZ. That's pretty much it for expenses. Just your food, fuel, and whatever you would normally buy/do. There is no electric bill, because it's all solar. We've recently had more solar panels and batteries installed, in addition to the ones the previous owners installed. So we are asking $5,000 more than what we paid which was $30,000. The reason we are selling it is because we've just had another baby and found a bigger house in the same community as this house, but it would fit our growing family better. If there are any questions you may have about the house beyond what I can answer, I am still in touch with the previous owners. They are willing to correspond with you directly to help answer those. We can do this via Skype or Zoom.
