Paradise Acres Farm is a small 18 acre family farm located in Elgin, SC. We are dedicated to producing fresh and naturally grown fruits, vegetables, and eggs for the local community. We are a start-up farm fresh in the research phase with a small number of sales. We produce products free from harmful fertilizers, pesticides, and antibiotics and practice sustainable agriculture.

We currently have 65 chickens for egg production, vegetable gardens, and are establishing a small fruit orchard of 170+ mixed fruit trees, bushes, and berries. We will be adding bee hives in the near future.
We are looking for interns willing to commit to a 2 month internship. Shorter internships will be considered on a case by case basis.
Interns will have the opportunity to experience the process of building a farm towards production.Qualifications:
Physically able to perform basic farming skills and manual labor, such as walking, stooping, lifting, carrying, and bending.
Able to commit to working 26 hours a week for 8 weeks. Students are welcome to apply, we will work with class schedules.

Qualifications: Honest, hardworking, and reliable with the desire to learn. Good communication skills. Able to work without supervision and self-motivated.
Must be able to carry 50 lb bags of feed and have a driver's license.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Experience driving a tractor a plus.

Housing for length of internship, fresh eggs and vegetables as available. Occasional meals.

If considered for internship, you will be asked to fill out an official Intern Application.
