August 20 – Sept 7, 2012
Mon-Fri, 9am-4pm @ Oregon State University’s Urban Horticulture Center
Back to school! This 3 week Permaculture Design Certificate Course can be taken for college credit
or no credits through Oregon State University. This course takes place on campus where we are establishing
demonstration gardens within this Land Grant University’s undulating fertile valley location. We blend
classroom lecture with hands-on, field trips, observation and design exercises, and top-notch guest
instructors to cover the core Permaculture curriculum and ever expanding teachings. Convenient and
bike friendly in-town location, while in the heart of the Willamette Valley and its beautiful rivers, farms,
and forests.
Learn the full cycle of the Permaculture Design System: observation, assessment, design,
implementation, and feedback. Learn design at scales from homestead to village to city, and yard to
neighborhood to farm. Permaculture design is the roadmap to a sustainable civilization, so come get
your bearings and head this way.
