I have been blessed to buy my families old homestead and 8 acreas of the old farm. With my husband and 11 children we are working at finding balance. We homeschool and grow much of our own vegetables.  I have been reading this forum site for years now. Excited to join in on the discussions.

Hi Lora-Leah,
Are you familiar with Takota Coen? He's an experienced permaculture farmer in central AB. His YouTube channel has some amazing interviews but also shares a lot of great info specific to his context, which might be similar to yours. If you reach out to him, he might even be available to babysit!
Good luck with your new property.
Nick
