Hi,

me and my partner are looking for our "soul tribe", or easier said people that have a purpose and goal with their lives that align very well with our own. I am a bit anxious about writing here, not because I do not find the thought of living more in-tune with nature appealing, but because neither of us has the health to do much in that regard as of now.
So, if we am still welcome, let me explain what we have in mind.

So a short introduction. Me and my partner are in our mid thirties, we live in Norway and have been together for close to six years. MTBI-wise we are a ENTP and a INFJ respectively, and we have also a keen interest in the intrarelational and interpersonal. Both of us are on Disability Benefit, which means we have a stable income but also restrictions with what we can do physically among other things. We imagine that to heal, we would need to be part of the community we envision and have some other changes to our lving conditions, diet and more.

Our view on Permaculture
I heard about Permaculture some years ago whilst being part of an idealistic organization working with sustainability, and even joined in creating a little garden. I enjoyed the thoughts of connecting with nature and awknowledging our dependency on our planet, not just the economy. Even though there are many examples our there, I enjoyed reading about the work of Dancing Rabbit and Tamera. Both of them seem to work not only to work towards more sustainability, but also adding the social, historical and spiritual elements of creating healing communitites for the humans living there.

Our vision:
Even though we like what is being done in those two ecovillages, we are aiming for something with a broader scope, and also something that we can do without being healthy or working. Turquoise in Spiral Dynamics can be a reference point to what we want to co-create with others. Our image of Turquoise is a group of people with very high degrees of meta-awareness, humility and self-understanding trying to heal and integrate with regards to all their inner levels of the Spiral - whilst being interconnected and interwoven with each others. Not as a sprint, but as a lifelong marathon. So not only finding a way to find inner balance, but to bring out the best of all the spiral colours in yourself as in others as a group.
We imagine connecting with about 16 people in this way, as when you include inner children, personal/collective trauma and imbalances between for example the feminine-emotional/masculine-mental as well, there is a lot going on. This will take a lot of time and focus, and it needs time and focus. The existential experience of being is a big part of what we envision our life to be.
We do want to grow and live more sustainably, creating healthy inner and outer enviornments - taking care not do overdraft our inner ecosystems in the process. But I guess if you look at the Spiral, we want good things on every level - but we also want others so we are able to feel safe in delving deeper and taking care not to go beyond our limits.

The first baby steps towards that vision:
Right now we are looking for some of those people. We do imagine another couple, as it could create more balance between us. Moreover, as we are working on sensitive and difficult issues that needs a very steady and compassionate hand, and we thought a couple might have filed away some of the sharp edges in the personality. We also hope you are around our own age, but we’ll give you a chance if not.

Finding someone that resonnates deeply with what we are writing would be a huge gift. Still, as I the ENTP is writing this, there are aspects that might not be so clear. To read more about my partner, you will have to read between the lines - and if that makes sense to you - in the emotional/energetical fields around us.

I hope this is the right place to write about our longing. I have been struggling to find avenues and places to share, as what we want is in the very special category as far as I know. Having health issues also limits the possibilites we have to join courses or retreats, places where me might easier have found like-hearted people. So if you have ideas or know someone who this might interest, I would be thankful if you let me/them know.

You can reach us on leif_conrad@hotmail.com

And, even though I did not intend so much for this post to open up a discussion, I would be grateful to know more about what kind of people you are looking for and your community-vision for the future.

Thanks for reading, and wish you all the best. If things work well, I hope to revisit this forum for more practical tips.
