Quimper Cob is putting on two cob workshops this summer hosted by Earlwood Farmstead

Weekend Intensives Learn the basics of Cob Building in our weekend sessions. Sign up for one, or do both for a discount. Workshops will by led by Adam McGrath. Come prepared for early morning cob talks, hands-on learning, getting muddy, camping, and farm fresh foods.

Aug 18-19 Cob Basics and Light Straw Clay

Sept 1-2 Cob Basics and Plaster

$$$ Each weekend workshop will cost $125, or $225 if you attend both. Bring a buddy for a discount! Work trade is available for a few of the openings.

Food and Schedule Workshop will start 9am Saturday morning and conclude Sunday evening with a potluck style dinner. Please bring a dish to share if you plan on staying for Sunday dinner. Saturday lunch and dinner and Sunday breakfast and lunch will be provided by the farm. We will be practicing skills most of the day (so plan for weather of all sorts), with a break after lunch, and a few short lectures throughout the day.

Accommodation
Please come prepared for camping. We have sites cleared out to pitch a tent with solar showers, composting toilets and running water. You are welcome to come and set up camp on Friday after 5pm, but please bring yourself a dinner and a breakfast as we won’t have food available until Saturday lunch.

Pre-registration is required.
