my first try at cob

Made a small batch of cob with the help of my kids to stomp. I am planning on building a shed/play house out of it with a urbanite foundation.
I think I have a bit too much straw in the mix...but it held together ok. We'll see how it holdsafter a few days of drying. I have a truck load of sub soil that never got used so I figure it has tons of clay. Sifted to get out the rocks.

My mini cob wall has been sitting for a month and has held up well without any roof. My test bricks are solid. I think my Georgia clay has lived up to its name. Time to source some urbanite and plan more. Been testing some reciprocal roof designs in miniature.
