Good day,

First post on permies but long-time lurker/enthusiast. I own a 2-acre greenhouse property in Prince Edward County that I am interested in leasing, and/or some sort of partnership.

It currently has an 1800 sq.ft retail space, a 10,000 sq.ft converted barn (used to be a massive glass greenhouse that the previous owner had sheet metalled over), and I have about 5-6 hoop houses (90x20, unassembled). In its previous life, it has run as a nursery for many years under a couple of different owners, and I would like to do the same but perhaps adding a couple of different elements (market garden, flowers, farmers market, etc.)

I am in the process of getting the zoning changed to allow a residential aspect that could house the right person/couple in the near future. There may also be the potential to lease farmland that is right behind my property.

Unfortunately, This is not a turn-key venture and will need someone with experience to get the ball rolling, but I am happy to entertain all interested parties to get a sense of your ideas and background.

If you're interested send me a pm and we can schedule a chat,

Happy Farming!

-Dan

Hello, interested in possibly renting a trailer spot start up set up. I have some farming experience. I'm interested in regenerative, organic and sustainable  practices .  E-mail emmollnova@gmail.com

Without subsidies, chem-ag food costs four times more than organic. Or this tiny ad:
