Hello,

I have two bags of turkey tail mycelium, which I made using colonized grain; however nor the website that sold me the grain, nor my reference books, nor the internet provides me with the how I'm supposed to make them fruit.

I've had reishi, and I just had to let the bag sit somewhere, and it would fruit on it's own. I've had Lion's mane, and it fruit when the bag was torn open; I've had shiitake, and they where completely removed from their bag to fruit.

What am I supposed to do there to make them fruit ? Would tear up a bit of the bag help them fruit, or will I need to remove hem from the bag, or just wait longer ? It's been close to several months now, and no sign of fruits.

Okay so literally seconds after posting, I discover this.

Apparently I just need to either cut holes in the bag, or cut open the bag and leave a humidity tent there. Hopefully this will help someone else and not just waste space on this forum.
