Hello,
I am interested in buying and reading one of the Ruth Stout books. My local amazon has a several of her books and I was wondering if they’re all the same and are just a reprint with different names or do they actually cover something different? Which should I get? Below is a list of what’s available:

Gardening Without Work: For the Aging, The Busy and the Indolent

How to Have a Green Thumb Without an Aching Back: A New Method of Mulch Gardening

The Ruth Stout No-Work Garden Book: Secrets of the Famous Year Round Mulch Method

Gardening Without Work

Thank you in advance

All her books sound like they would be really good to have.

Here is a thread on the last one: "Gardening Without Work"

Thank you Anne, I have read that thread but didn’t find the answer there. Since all of these were published at different times I think they might be just revised editions as they imply the same thing. The first three books also have the same number of pages which makes me think they may be the same thing. I have seen this with other books, where different publishers would publish the same book under different names.

Yana, I feel you are probably right that they could be the same book with different titles.

Reading the title and knowing what I know about Ruth Stout, the titles would fit the original book.

If I were buying a book I would go with the original book.

The first two are different books. Book two adds to the info given in book 1.
