Hmm... Interesting thought. We sort of have that. We have about 70 acres of pasture where we graze our pigs. In the middle of that is the area our chickens free-range - they follow the pigs naturally within the inner areas but don't go more than about 1,000' out. Our livestock guardian and herding dogs keep the predators out, or eat them, and the livestock in. Within the center ring is our home. Think of it as a three ring circus.
