I’m growing Plectranthus rotundifolius. I’ve grown it for about 2 year now and it’s quite prolific. The plant is very robust and grows like crazy. Easy to propagate too. I started with one and now I have several. The tubers range from about the size of a quarter to the size of a golf ball. They’re not the tastiest thing when eat alone but they’re not too bad cooked well and added to casseroles, stews and soups. I’ve planted some outside this year just to see if they will over winter outside here in zone 8b. Wish me luck. Anyway, where did you find P esculentus? I’ve been look for that plant for a while. Maybe we could do a Plectranthus trade. Let me know. Either way, happy growing.
