i had rigid hydraulic line on my kubota bx23s tractor burst... i am NOT a mechanic but

the parts $125  with tax
hydraulic oil $100  with tax

2 x 130k round trip @ $1.35 km = $400 with tax
2 hrs labor = $230 with tax..

so i took the plunge and with trial and error got 'er done - 6 hours.. pictures would have helped.. hated every minute of it LOL!

i asked what a shop manual would cost @ the local dealer and was quoted $900.00 for the big print copy..

i found a pdf for 10 bucks - then as a lark i looked for a download online... normally these sites have bloatware download requirements - but i found a hobby free site with ALL KINDS.. my download was the same as my purchase... may save some of you time and money - cheers yo!

Well done James.
Now you can build up a nice tool set!
Dont forget you can get lines fabricated if you live in the right area!

thanks for the shout out john!

i have the tools just not the patience... 11 years ago i was a totally urban dude - and never di dteh vehicle thing - i lived ni ottawa and commuted via bicycle year round (down to -25 C !)

i never grew up with cars, fixing them etc... so it was just something i wanted to punt.. .truck and tractor... the truck i just warrantied again - it goes to ford... but the tractor? well... i balked at teh service fees.. friend nudged me... i'l learn.

just childishy... didn't wanna !!!

)the lines was a crazy bent rigid line... EXACT fit... i could see other lines that could be fabricated i suppose.. the one i replaced was really only 50 bucks the other i can do later..

thanks buddy take it ease!

The longest recorded flight time of a chicken is 13 seconds. But that was done without this tiny ad:
