Natal plum (Carissa magnocarpa)

I planted a natal plum in a semi-open area in an region with dry frost about -2C or -3C. It survived but was damaged a lot. I will be getting more plants and putting them a bit deeper into the shade to see how they do. I think this plant could end up being one of my main under-story shrubs in Puebla and it will likely do well in the open on my other farm in Yucatan.


This article states that the seedlings will produce fruit in 2 years but growth will be slower in cooler regions.

I planted one, and I have seeds.
It is planned to be a hedge, with its spines!

Good for copper, and fat looks 1%, but may be of fruit and so more out of the dry matter...
