I was watching youtube videos last night and stumbled across this video which I thought the textile folks here might be interested in.

It shows a woman doing traditional Romanian pattern weaving of a blouse. What's interesting to me is that she's weaving a pattern with 10-15 heddle sticks tied onto a simple loom and moved by hand.

Another video from the same channel (which I can't find again) shows weaving like this as a team with one person weaving, and one person moving the heddle sticks.

I know very little about weaving, and had believed you needed a fancier loom or a lot of patience to make patterns like those.

Has anyone seen this technique before?
