I have been here a while, shared some posts and offered comments and advice.  As many of you know I built, and I am still building, my own home myself.  I took many pictures along the way but very few videos because most of the time it was just me and my neighbor and I had no intentions at the time of posting on YouTube.  The past year or so I was lacking energy and didn't make much progress, aside from hanging drywall in the 2700sq/ft house and the 1500sq/ft garage and getting most of that taped and electrical outlets connected, but I had a lot of time watching various YouTube videos on many different topics so I decided to give it a try.  As I mentioned this video is mostly photos with comments placed in necessary areas, and a few short videos mixed in.  I will soon do a video walk around the house, garage, vehicles, chickens, ducks, turkeys, and goose.  Gus.GusThe Goose@Instagram.  Maybe with Gus' help I can grow my Instagram and YouTube following.  fundarofunnyfarmranch@Instagram

When I made this video and viewed it on my computer there was plenty of time to read the messages along the way but when I posted it to YouTube it moved much faster.  Probably my old computer couldn't keep up with the video as fast as streaming on YouTube.
If actually watching on YouTube please consider going into settings and playing the video at 3/4 speed, of just hit pause for a second when the few notes pop up.  It did the best I knew how.  I am learning.  =-)

Thank you.
Michael

A walk around part of the homestead.  Introducing the vehicle collection, The work bench, the animals, several of the past projects, and introducing a few of the future projects.  Just for fun, let's make a T-shirt.
Thank you for watching.  =-)

Today was a very busy day full of unexpected stuff, but I did video on step one of making the Funny Farm Ranch signboard for the homestead.  Next couple days may be busy too but I will try to get that video out as soon as possible.

I had a funny thought for the next video I am working on.  Right now my beard is about an inch long, longest it has been in a few years but the weather is warming up so it will be going away soon.  Yesterday I did the first part of the video, today I will trim my beard just a bit, and each step of the way I will trim my beard shorter and shorter and for the last segment I will get a haircut and use the clippers to take my beard down to a very short stubble.  I haven't used a razer in years, no need to be clean shaven since I retired.  I think it will be funny to have my beard get shorter each step of the way instead of getting longer over time.
Simple things to humor my simple mind.

Just a few pictures of the house, some of the fun around the homestead, and a hairy experience you wont want to miss. Be sure to watch to the end for a special Tribute to Shorty.

In less than 2 weeks the first 3 videos have over 200 views and there are 22 subscribers.  I have a video I need to edit on painting the signboard for the homestead that I hope to post tonight or tomorrow.  A real video, not a photo montage.  Most videos from here should be actual videos but if I come up with a good enough collection of old photos on a good topic I will make another montage.

With the signboard done I will use that for a T-shirt for the homestead and hopefully start selling them.   I have the equipment to make shirts so that will be easy to do.  I just need to come up with a good online sales platform to accept payment, but occasionally something may be firearms related, but not actually selling firearms just shirts and designs related to firearms or shooting or hunting, so it will have to not be anti-firearm so I have some research to do on that.  Any suggestions?  I had a couple recommendations for Square, I am looking into that now.

Thanks to everyone.
Michael

I found an old headboard that was broken into three pieces in the river on the mountain. I put them back together and painted a sign.

After 5 years the wind and the snow were wearing on the wood stove chimney, so I reinforced the chimney.
