Korean heating system and Hanok woodworking technique

1) Korean heating system ( in the link you will observe the building of a retrofitting the side of the house, for a heated room. fueled by timber under the mass on the floor, and supported by the clay.mud mass on the wall (e.g. instead of wool batts).  If your entire build had the mass floor with  heating /fire chambers under each, but need to go outside to add more fuel, unlike Rocker Mass Heaters with an inside chute. You could do your entire house I suppose.

BUT check this near forgotten art. Or maybe it is alive and well in your neck of the woods. Let me know if you use this or others you know use this technique.
