Came across this video last night - pretty cool! I had never heard of syntropic design, but a quick search reveals it's been mentioned around here before, so I guess I'm late to the party! But I didn't see this particular video posted, so here ya go.

It seems very focused on succession and involves a tonne of chop 'n' drop pruning to build up soil through mulching and stimulating plants to grow more/faster. If you're starting with dry poor soil and trying to get from that to a food forest as quickly as possible it seems like a good way to go.
