Hello everyone,

So I've got some white sage, and decided to plant it in a pot with some sandy, well draining soil, mostly suited for cacti, as it seems  to grow in California deserts. If anyone happens to have a better idea for the potting mix to use, I'm all ears.

I'm wondering if I can have some companion plants in that same pot. It's 40cm wide (diameter) and 35cm high. If it's possible, which plants could go well with it ? They should receive some sun, but I expect that they will get some shade from the sage itself.

I have some Damiana (turnera diffusa) that I planted in the same potting mix, and so they might go well in that soil, but they will probably be way too big.

What plants, who have similar growing requirement, could be a good companion ?
