I'm  a recent transplant from Colorado to NC
Feeling so happy to be here and learn what I can
I've experimented a little with Hugelkulture in Colorado with great success - anyone in NC or a temperate, mountain 6-7 zone, have any insights?
Conditions here are very different, to say the least. Excited to learn how to care take this part of our earth better.

Hello! Gaurī here in NC about 40 minutes southeast of Asheville in Rutherford County. This is our second year homesteading on 5 acres. We’re zone 7 and YES so different than growing up north. I grew up in Michigan, lived in NYC for 40 years & now we’re here.
I’m also goofing around w hugelcultur, minimal tilling, mulching heavily.
I have a large garden that I keep expanding. It gets sun all day long so it dries out easily. Suddenly we’re being drenched w rain!

Look ma! I'm selling my stuff!
