Bagworms

We have an apple orchard that we tend to avoid spraying anything on. Definitely no chemicals but occasionally milky spore/neem oil/carol a clay has been used. We are trying to transition to more of a permaculture approach by under planting trees with herbs and other aromatic confusers in an attempt to reduce our pest issues one of which is bagworms this year. Does anyone have any recommendations/successes using plants to deter these? Any information would be extremely helpful. TIA

I don't know about plants, but one of the suggestions commonly seen here it rocks.  Through a few stones Through bags as they develop and the natural predators can reach them.
