I have had a number of people PM me with questions, so I thought I could put them out here for others wondering the same thing.

1- how big are the roots I send?  The first picture shows root from an order I just sent out.  Any of those roots could be cut smaller and will still grow.  I honestly only send them that big so people are sure they are getting their money's worth
2- how much biomass do they make?  The second picture is a picture of my first cutting of the year on an established plant.  Keep in mind, we have frosts in May pretty much every year, and sometimes in June, so my plants start far after most of yours.
3- how big do they get?  The third picture is the plant immediately before the cutting shown in picture 2.  It is more than 4 feet after only a few weeks of being up
4- how do you use yours?  There are many answers to this :)  I use them for mulch, for compost, for chicken food, for barriers around plantings to keep quack and other rhizome plants from intruding, for bees, for medicinal use, and just because I love them.  Picture 4 shows this one mulching a young plum tree

Any other question, please ask.  I love this plant.
