--they grow really fast.  They need a few gallons of water now (week 3) where they barely got through a quart the first few days.  This is 16 fowl.
--attaching hardware cloth pieces to each other--instead of weaving a strand of wire (my first thought) I wish i'd thought of doing little baggie-tie-type attachments.  It's a pain in the butt ot try to weave something that's stiff and gets stuck a lot and hard to get it through and back to your side of the wall
--they won't run away.  ever. they just cluster around in their flock.
